At Olive Branch Christian School we believe that God's Word is the source of all wisdom and the teaching of all subjects revolves around the principles found in it. Psalm 1:3 says "And he will be like a tree firmly planted by streams of water, which yields its fruit in its season, and its leaf does not wither and in whatever he does he prospers." This is the theme verse for our school. We believe that no matter what path the Lord leads your child to take in life, they will be successful and fruitful if they apply the principles of the Bible. Our goal for every child is that of Luke 2:52, that they would grow in "wisdom and stature, and in favor with God and men." Therefore, we focus our attention on the development of their academics, physical activity, spiritual life and relationships with others.

Olive Branch Christian School (OBCS) is located just east off the El Cerrito Road exit of route 15 in Corona, CA. The opening of the school on March 16th 1997 was through prayerful consideration by the elders and church members. The Lord's leading allowed for the Olive Branch Christian Preschool (OBCP) to be formed in 1996 and was the cornerstone for opening the elementary school a year later. Today, Olive Branch Christian Academy has grades K-8.

OBCS is a mission of the Olive Branch Community Church which has Elders that provide oversight for the school.  The academy is run by the School Board, which is made up of a Church Elder, the Preschool Director, the Academy Administration, and 5 appointed church members.

OBCS is a member of the Association of Christian Schools Internationals (ACSI). As part of ACSI, students can experience the enrichment of other Christians schools as they compete in speech meets, spelling bees, math olympics, creative writing, science fairs and music festivals. ACSI also provides an ongoing training and support programs for teachers, faculty, and administrators to ensure excellence in every area of the Christian School Program.

OBCS is also a member of the Association of Classical and Christian Schools (ACCS).  Through this organization, our teachers receive further support, education, and training in effectively teaching their students to become life-long learners. 

OBCS provides a personal environment that allows parents, teachers and administrator to work together for the success of each child. The school provides encouraging teachers that are both academically experienced and spiritually qualified and are supported by a nurturing staff that is deeply committed and focused on each child's development.

Chapel is held one morning each week to nurture the spirit. Chapel is a planned time of worship, inspiration and education with special speakers and performances from our classes. Parents are encouraged and welcome to attend Chapel where students are also honored for their Christian character.
